A water Heater is not a must as most of the camping happens in summer. 3 choices are available: Diesel/Gas heater, Electric Heater, and Propane Instant Heater.
A water pump is a must-have. When the 12v DC-powered water pump detects the water pressure release it starts pumping.
Unless the van is for full-time living, an outdoor shower or a fordable simple indoor shower should be considered instead of an enclosed indoor shower room.
A grey water tank could be mounted under the van to save some space. However, an indoor grey water tank might be better if a van is used in freezing weather.
A deeper sink with a lid is always the best choice for a camper van.
